Buying shares
Orders go through your broker, pay a fee, and wait to match — they do not always fill instantly.
Log in as a trader, open a PUBLIC stock, and use the Buy tab. You choose how many shares to request. Share price plus broker fee comes out of available StarBux.
Placing an order does not guarantee an instant fill. The market matches buyers and sellers (including bots). Your funds may be held until the order executes or cancels.
If the price is zero or the listing is not public, buying is blocked. Fix research and listing status first.
Takeaways
- Budget for price × shares + broker fee.
- PENDING orders wait for a match — check the dashboard.
- No broker or insufficient StarBux means the order will not place.
