Bill Nye, known as "Bill Nye the Science Guy," is a prominent American scientist, engineer, comedian, and television personality. He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and worked as an engineer for Boeing. He's best known for hosting the children's science show "Bill Nye the Science Guy" from 1993 to 1998. He has also written books, worked on other science-related TV shows and specials, and served as CEO of The Planetary Society.
