Bull vs. Bear Debate

Evaluate both sides of an investment decision.

StockSt uses fictional currency and simulated shares for education only. This is not investment advice.

Setup

  1. Select one trending StockSt share.
  2. Assign one team as the Bulls (arguing the price will rise) and one as the Bears (arguing it will fall).
  3. Each side prepares a three-minute case using price history, recent news or sentiment, simulated fundamentals, competitive and category risks, valuation or a relative-price argument, and its main downside or upside scenario.
  4. Optional twist: after the debate, students may change their vote only if they can cite new evidence.

Scoring

Judges score evidence, logic, use of data, and acknowledgment of counterarguments, not which side “wins.”

Teacher debrief

Ask which argument was the most data-driven and whether any student changed their view, and why. Connect the exercise to the idea that every trade has a counterparty with a different opinion.
